6 Things I Loved In September

Oct 11, 2018

Trying to find my way back into blogging... So I'm starting today with a monthly series sharing some of my favorite things! When I was a way better blogger, I saw a similar post and thought it was fun, so this is my take! Each month (hopefully within the first week), I'll share some of my favorite and very random things I enjoyed from the previous month! Anything goes.... beauty, food, books, tv shows, apps, products.... anything I liked, used, found helpful, I want to share with you!

Let's jump right in! Here are a few things I loved in September...

Universal Thread V-Neck Pocket Tee
My new favorite tee from Target! Comfy, affordable and they come in the best colors for Fall! I picked up the olive green one already and hope to snag the golden yellow next! They are going to be a wardrobe staple even during the cooler months - I'm just gonna throw on an oversized sweater!

No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum
Another Target find! I've only been using this for a few weeks and so far I really like it. I've been using it morning and night and I do think I notice a difference already! I'm going to keep using and I'll report back in a month or two after I've had longer time to use it.

Magnolia Table Cookbook
This was a birthday gift from my sister back in June! I've been going through and putting post-its on my favorite pages. There are soooo many yummy recipes, but firsts on the list to try are scalloped potatoes, chicken enchiladas, mac & cheese, country potato soup, jo's biscuits...... and pretty much all the desserts!

Spindrift Sparkling Water
I'm not a pop drinker and I usually stick to water or coffee, sometimes iced tea. But during the hot Summer months my taste buds were looking for a change. I gave Spindrift a try... and honestly, the cute branding got me plus I'm not a La Croix fan at all. (actually I hate it! lol) This was my go-to drink all Summer! I haven't tried all the flavors yet, but lemon, blackberry and half & half are my current faves!

GLASS REUSABLE STRAWS
I really try to limit my use of disposable plastic straws. I'm also not the biggest fan of paper ones. Yes they're cute, but they get soggy so quickly. So I ordered these glass ones and recently picked up some stainless steel ones from Homegoods. I'm not perfect and have still used plastic ones, but every little bit helps.

DOGGIE Car DOOR COVERS
If your pup likes to look out the windows, you need these! We have one of those backseat hammock covers (similar) but it doesn't protect the doors! It wasn't a big deal to us since our previous car was old, but we recently got a new SUV and want to keep the doors scratch-free, as long as possible!

Told you they were random! haha

Now it's your turn! What have you been loving lately?
Do we share any same/similar favorites?

  1. Girl after my own heart. I HATE La Croix!!! I'm a huge Spindrift fan too. Lemon is my fave so far. I need to get myself a glass straw so I appreciate the reminder. Congratulations on the SUV too, love! xo
